A traditional Ayurvedic recipe for pain relief. Gives long term benefits if applied regularly on the area of pain. Reduces muscle and joint pain, relief from arthritis, muscle relaxant and acts on tendons and ligaments, reduces nasal, congestion and headaches.
Take a pea size amount and add to boiling water then steam for clearing blocked nose, sinus, congestion or cough.
Apply a tiny amount and massage on temples and forehead to reduce migraine and headaches. Keep away from eyes.
Made with Ayurveda Herbs: Bala(Sida cordifolia): This plant is found in the tropical regions of India. It is used to pacify all the 3 doshas. It is anti-inflammatory making it suitable for joint stiffness and arthritis. Reduces the pain from spondylitis, reduces chest congestion and effective for nervous disorders.
Rasna (Alpinia galangal): This particular herb pacifies the Vata dosha, which is what causes pain when out of balance. Reduces inflammation of the nervous system and joints of the body. Helps to treat osteoporosis.
Cinnamon: Calms Vata and Kapha dosha in the body, anti-inflammatory and used for arthritis. A natural pain reliever, and helps to build bones connective tissues. Reduces muscle pain after a workout.
Dashamoola drug is a combination of potent of roots and herbs that are commonly used in classical Ayurvedic multi-ingredient formulation for the management of pain, arthritis and inflammatory disorders.
Essential oils: Thymol (Ajwain) Ajwain seeds consist of about 50% thymol essential oil which has powerful anti-spasmodic, germicide and fungicide properties. Used for relieving arthritis pain.
Camphor: causes numbness of sensory nerve endings of the skin, thereby relieving pain and inflammation, and preventing skin redness.
Eucalyptus essential oil: Anti-inflammatory and works on sore muscles. Helps those who have chronic conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome.
Menthol / Peppermint essential oil: Effective antispasmodic properties that help relax muscles, while their antiemetic quality addresses tension headaches.
These herbs are processed in a dark coloured Grade A Sesame seed oil, beneficial and warming for Vata dosha. Made with beeswax.
Massage into the area where there is pain, and if possible take a hot shower afterwards. Use until the pain is gone.
Do not apply near eyes.
